October 2009 saw the opening of Little Seedlings Childcare by Jane Garner. What started out to be a small childminding service grew very quickly and by December 2009, I was inundated by phone calls from parents looking for something a bit different from your usual childminder, but not as big as a nursery.
So the search started for an assistant and Samantha Ellis (Sammy) was appointed in early 2010.
During the eight years that we’ve worked together, we’ve been fortunate to care for 71 children, with the vast majority of them living in Ruddington.
In 2016 we were ready and prepared for our Ofsted visit, the children were fantastic on the day and helped us achieve “OUTSTANDING”, in all areas – fantastic recognition for all the hard work we put in each day.
Unfortunately due to ill health I’ve decided that the time is right to finish and retire. Sam intends on returning to a position in retail.
So from Sam and myself, we thank you all for the many years of support that you’ve offered us and we wish you all well for the future.
