Rushcliffe Country Park has recently been awarded its 10th Green Flag in a row by Keep Britain Tidy. The initiative recognises parks and spaces around the country that are well-maintained, well-managed and offer high quality facilities to their visitors.
The judges were particularly impressed by the park’s ground-breaking features and facilities, which include an adventure playground, Copper’s Dog Activity Trail, Parkrun and many areas of biodiversity interest. The enthusiasm and creativity of the Friends of Rushcliffe Country Park, and how they work with the team of Park Rangers to improve and manage the site, also came in for special praise.
Well done to everyone involved in this decade of success – keep up the good work!
