No less than four Methodist buildings still remain in Ruddington, with the 1873 chapel on Church Street (pictured) still a very active presence in the village. After nearly 18 months of complete shut-down or occasional services, we are about to open our doors every Sunday at 10.30am starting on 5th September! Singing is allowed!
Also, our Saturday Coffee Morning will reappear on Saturday 4 September when we shall be holding a mini-sale (there will be cake!) from 10.00am to 12noon.
Monies raised will go toward the outside painting of the building – work which has been on hold during the pandemic.
The Fellowship Group (all welcome) will now meet on the first Wednesday in the month at 2.30pm starting on 1st September, when Revd. Nichola Jones will join us in Holy Communion. David Johnson will entertain us at the October meeting with his “Below Stairs” stories of working as a butler in some grand houses.
Nichola Jones became our minister last September and is really looking forward to welcoming back members and friends old and new, and experiencing the full life of the Church.
