Get ready to embrace nature like never before! 30 Days Wild is The Wildlife Trusts’ annual challenge event, where you’re asked to take on wild activities throughout June.
From planting wildflowers for bees to listening to bird song, there’s endless ways to spend your wild month! Whether you complete one activity a day, or a couple in a week, you’ll be connecting with wildlife, boosting your wellbeing and making a positive impact on the planet at the same time.
Sign up today to receive your FREE goodies in the post, as well as daily emails full of fascinating facts and inspiring activities to help you achieve your wild challenge. There are only a limited number of postal goodies available, so be sure to get in early.
This year the choices have been made simpler, with clear distinctions between resources for kids and adults. After surveying lots of previous 30 Days Wild-ers, The Wildlife Trusts have listened to your feedback and created one 30 Days Wild challenge that’s perfect for those taking part with children, and a more ‘grown-up’ version for those taking part without children.
The kids’ postal resources feature a child-friendly design and includes herb seeds, a poster with wildlife facts on invertebrates and a spotter sheet, stickers and a guide for parents/guardians/teachers on how to go wild with lots of activity ideas.
Adults taking part without children will receive a greeting card through the post, complete with a pack of herb seeds and a tear-away postcard to send to a friend to encourage them to get involved in 30 Days Wild with you.
Everyone will also receive access to digital resources, including:
- Daily emails with ideas and inspiration
- Activity guides
- Spotter sheets
- Weekly completion badges to use on social media platforms
- Completion certificate
- Lesson plans (for educators).
