Ruddington Village Museum’s Anniversary Exhibition
A fascinating new one-day exhibition is coming to St Peter’s Rooms that will show off unusual and rarely-seen objects from Ruddington Village Museum’s collection, in celebration of 50 years of the museum.
One object will be displayed for each year of the museum’s existence, with items ranging from two 17th century pewter plates found in the Methodist Chapel to a beautiful Edwardian Post Box-shaped money box (pictured).
Many of the objects on display have a history tied specifically to Ruddington. And most have been kindly donated by local families, making this exhibit a celebration of the local area as much as one of the Village Museum itself.
This public exhibition will be open from 10am until 3:30pm on Saturday 22nd September, and is free to visit. Everyone is welcome, so do please join us.
