In summer 2016, James Peacock Infant and Nursery School and St Peter’s Junior School launched a 5p Challenge. The aim was to see which school could collect the most 5p coins during the school summer holidays.
Children, parents, carers, neighbours, friends and local residents saved their change to support the “Friends” groups at the respective schools.
The incentive for the schools is that the winner gets the 5p Challenge Trophy (and of course the money!) The score currently is one win to each school.
All change will be gratefully received and any money donated by anyone not directly connected to either school will be shared equally between both.
We’re currently confirming collection points in the village, so please feel free to save your 5p coins. We’ll let you know where you can take them in the August issue of The Rudd.
Thank you!

Treasurer, Friends of James Peacock School
PS. Thank you to everyone who supported the recent Family Fun Day held at James Peacock School.
