The 5p Challenge is now on and will run throughout the school summer holidays. James Peacock and St Peter’s Schools are encouraging their pupils and staff to collect 5p coins and bring them into their respective schools at the start of the Autumn Term.
The school that collects the most coins will win the 5p Challenge Trophy, whilst the monies raised will be donated to the Friends groups of the respective schools.
If you’d like to support this fun challenge, several of our local businesses have kindly agreed to host a pot to collect them. These are the Black Cat Café, Evans Pharmacy, Jaspers Café, Perkins Hardware and Ruddington Village Butchers.
Any coins donated by people unconnected with either school will be shared equally between both.
Thank you.
