‘My sister in law sent me some copies of the Village Newsletter. How things have changed since I lived there in the 1950s. As June Hall, I was involved with St Peter’s Sunday School and the youth group. We met at the Village Hall and were a constant nuisance to Mrs Sabine. I used to ring bells too, and was Tawny Owl to the Brownies. I now live in Western Australia, and recently gained a PhD at the ripe old age of 79. I would love to hear from anyone who remembers me.’
