Highways England is holding public information exhibitions on proposed plans to improve the A52 Nottingham Knight and Wheatcroft junctions as part of the A52 Nottingham Junctions scheme.
The Nottingham Knight and Wheatcroft junctions suffer from severe congestion at peak travel times, leading to long queues on all approaches. Highways have identified solutions to improve both junctions, which include:
- Widening the approaches to provide additional traffic lanes
- Increasing the size of the existing roundabouts to allow better movement of traffic
- Introducing traffic signals to manage traffic safely and effectively
- Additional link roads
The public information events in Ruddington will take place at St Peter’s Rooms on Friday 18th January from 1pm to 5pm and on Saturday 19th January from 10am to 4pm. A third event will take place at Notcutts Garden Centre on Saturday 26th January from 10am to 4pm.
You can attend one of the public information events to meet the project team, ask questions and view more details of on proposals.
