Councillor allowances and expenses
Ruddington Parish Councillors do not receive allowances for being a councillor. Any expenses incurred are usually for training courses and related travel. These are reported with the invoice payments.
The Chairman’s Allowance is a pot of money that forms part of the Parish Council’s budget. Councillors have voted that this can be used to support local issues at the Chairman’s discretion.
Local clubs, groups and organisations can apply for a Parish Council grant to help fund activities that benefit the community.
