The Government’s Code of Recommended Practice for Local Authorities on Data Transparency applies to parish councils with a gross income or expenditure in excess of £200,000. Therefore, this applies to Ruddington Parish Council.

Expenditure over £500
Ruddington Parish Council reports all invoice payments to Parish Council, not just those over £500.
Employees
There are no employees paid over £58,200 per annum.

Councillor allowances and expenses
Ruddington Parish Councillors do not receive allowances for being a councillor. Any expenses incurred are usually for training courses and related travel. These are reported with the invoice payments.
The Chairman’s Allowance is a pot of money that forms part of the Parish Council’s budget. Councillors have voted that this can be used to support local issues at the Chairman’s discretion.
Grant awards
Local clubs, groups and organisations can apply for a Parish Council grant to help fund activities that benefit the community.
