Celebrate the last Bank Holiday until Christmas with a heritage steam or diesel train ride through beautiful countryside. There’ll be a special treat for the kids as GCRN’s popular mascot, Edward the Bear, is joining the services on Sunday 25th and Monday 26th August. As well as entertaining the children, Edward will have a sweet treat and a drink on hand for each youngster.
Steam or diesel services depart at 10:45am, 12:45pm and 2:45pm on both days. GCRN will also be running vehicles from their heritage bus collection to provide a circular route between Ruddington and Rushcliffe Halt on the Sunday, plus other local routes if possible.
The miniature and model railways, café and gift shop will also be open along with GCRN’s play and picnic area.
