Nottingham Heritage Transport Centre (NTHC) has secured an additional grant of £2,000 for the brand new toilet block they’re building, as reported in the May 2024 edition of The Rudd.
The funds have come from the East Midlands Airport Fund and NTHC would like to thank them very much indeed.
This adds to the £40,000 of funding already secured. Donations from individuals have also been coming in, pushing the appeal up by £2,500 towards its £25,000 target.
NTHC expects the building is going to cost around £65,000, so every pound really matters. The project will give the heritage centre permanent and fully accessible toilet facilities for the very first time.
