In line with Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Community Safety operations, they’re reminding local residents and groups in and connected to Rushcliffe who to contact should they experience anti-social behaviour (ASB).
We’re aware this can be a wide-ranging matter affecting many organisations and individuals. When ASB occurs, it may be necessary to inform the police, a housing provider or Rushcliffe Borough Council, depending on the nature of the problem.
For example, in the case of threats, verbal abuse or malicious communications, certain incidents may be considered a criminal offence. These should always be reported to and dealt with by the police by calling 101, 999 in an emergency or reported online via report a crime.
You can contact the Borough Council on 0115 981 9911, where calls will be recorded and the customer will either be directed to the local police with their consent, to complete the Council’s online form or referred to the national ASB help service.
The Borough Council will offer help and advice, and may suggest or refer to another agency such as the police but may also investigate or work with police or a social landlord in line with our ASB policy.
