Some of you may be aware I’m the Recycling Officer here at Rushcliffe Borough Council and also a former member of the Armed Forces. I wanted to let your parishioners know about an Armed Forces & Veterans’ Breakfast Club which I run in Gamston. We meet at The Goose on Ambleside, NG2 6NA, on the last Saturday of the month from 9:30am.
The breakfast clubs are here to help support veterans who may not want to get involved in more formal environments. Our aim is to get to understand the needs of our ex-services community and promote camaraderie. And of course to provide good food and good banter!
