Ainsley Burton is a local graffiti artist whose work has been commissioned by the Leicester Fire Service, Birmingham City Council and Rushcliffe Country Park.
The Parish Council has accepted Ainsley’s kind offer to paint over illegal art at the Sellor’s building and replace it with something he felt was more appropriate. Ainsley and his helpers spent most of a cloudy and wet Friday producing a new look for Ruddington. His design had children in mind as the building is very near the play area.
The current design is very much a starter to test the water and see how people react. There are no long term plans on this approach as yet – much depends on public opinion. Let us know your views and any design ideas you may have.
The Parish Council thanks Ainsley and his helpers for their time, effort and for self financing the project.
