The Parish Council will be objecting to proposals put forward to impose parking restrictions around the Asher Lane area of the village. The proposals are a result of the forthcoming housing development and the planning conditions that were imposed on the developers.
Via East Midlands, who are acting on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC), are proposing to introduce ‘No Waiting at any Time’ (double yellow lines) restrictions along Asher Lane and around the junctions of Distillery Street, Top Road and Musters Road.
The Parish Council will be objecting to the proposals and offering an alternative solution as the proposals will have a negative impact on around 20 properties on Asher Lane in particular, as many residents have no alternative but to park on the street.
The consultation is open until October 9th 2020 and can be viewed at consult.nottinghamshire.gov.uk.
