On November 3rd “Base Camp” at St. Peter’s C of E Junior School was officially opened …
The ribbon was cut by the two youngest members of the School Council in front of invited guests. The old “Craft Room” has been transformed into a bright new space for the school and the wider community to benefit from. It is a much needed venue in this area of the village as the aim is to offer it for hire for community use. “Ruddington Fun” was one of the first hirers when it used the room and the school grounds for a very successful “Down in the Woods” session during the recent summer holidays.
The refurbishment was made possible due to support and funding from the Rushcliffe Community Partnership, Nottinghamshire County Council Extended Services, County Councillor Reg Adair and Thomas James Estate Agents. For booking information call the school on 974 3303.
