Ruddington Bowls Club celebrated their 90th Anniversary on 3rd August. The M.C. for the day was Dick Marshall our longest serving member.
There were various games on during the day.
A Fours competition for members in the morning. In the afternoon we welcomed 30 visitors including past members and friends of the club. They were all invited to play target bowls with ligmum vitae woods of the kind they would have been using in 1924 when the club was founded. This was followed by a bowls drive in which many of our visitors took part.
The Chairman of the Parish Council, Councillor Allen Wood, presented the prizes and cut the celebration cake.
The weather was kind to us and a good time was had by all.

Secretary, Ruddington Bowls Club
