This competition is now in its 10th year and what brilliant window display ideas from our local businesses! Our judges remarked on what a tough competition it was for them this year, so keep bringing your amazing ideas to life and brightening up our village for the festive period.
The winners:
- 1st– Perkins Hardware (pictured)
. What a worthy winner with Rudolph and his blinking red nose taking centre stage in the window. - 2nd – Zing Interiors. Glittery bling on a big scale.
- 3rd – Lesley Cree Opticians. Lovely way to frame (pardon the pun!) their windows, which shone so brightly in the dark hours.
Highly commended:
- Eleven – Fabulous grinch-themed display.
- Jaspers – Another grinch window but where’s the rest of him?
- Tomlinson Estates – Very clever and amusing idea to post ‘unique Christmas properties’ for sale, with Santa’s going for a snip at £1,000,000!
