This year’s Celebrating Rushcliffe Awards with Parkwood Leisure have now taken place, with nominees including a sportsperson and an environmental group from Ruddington!
These were the Wildlife Watch Group in the “Environmental Project or Group” category and Izzy Bramhall in the “Sportsperson of the Year” award.
Sadly, these two nominees didn’t win their awards but we still offer them our congratulations on being shortlisted.
The Celebrating Rushcliffe Awards recognise the Borough’s wonderful volunteers, businesses and environmentalists, clubs, organisations, and the best of its health and wellbeing and food and drink sectors, and local enterprise.
The awards took place at Rushcliffe Arena in West Bridgford on Thursday 21st November.
Over 30 groups and individuals were shortlisted for this year’s accolades following an incredible response, with hundreds of residents putting forward their local heroes.
