Our own Ruddington Community Choir will be performing at the Methodist Church on Saturday 20th July at 7pm to round off a fun day of activities at Ruddington’s Summer Fayre.
The Church has chosen local charity, Bloomin’ Dementia, to benefit from the proceeds of this concert and a key member of the organisation will be there to explain the valuable work they do for our community.
Kathy Powis from the Methodist Church Events Team explained: “Most of us will have some experience of dementia and the challenges it brings to families. Thankfully, there’s help and support out there and we in Ruddington are fortunate to have Bloomin’ Dementia on our doorstep. We’re also very proud of our local Community Choir under the leadership of Bernie Bracha, so we have a great evening to look forward to.”
Tickets are priced at £6, which includes refreshments after the show, and are available at the Church’s Saturday Coffee Mornings, from Kathy on 0115 984 5375, or on the door.
Bloomin’ Dementia are based at 4 Easthorpe Street and can be contacted on 0115 984 3703 or at info@bloomindementia.org.
