Activities at last month’s Christmas Fayre have raised £272.70 for local organisation Ruddington Fun. The funds were collected from the sale of raffle tickets and refreshments at St Peter’s Rooms during the Fayre on Saturday 3 December. The Chair of Ruddington Fun, Jude Winwood, was presented with a cheque by the Christmas Fayre Events Team – Parish Councillors John Noble, Marilyn Robinson and Annette Auckland – on 15 December.
John commented: ‘Ruddington Fun work tremendously hard to organise and run a wide range of excellent activities for our village kids to enjoy in the school holidays. I’m delighted that they’ll benefit from monies raised from the hugely successful 2016 Christmas Fayre, which was by far the biggest and best Ruddington has seen to date. I’d especially like to thank all the local businesses who donated so many fantastic prizes for the raffle.’
