St Peter’s Church is holding a range of Christmas events and services, and everyone at the church would love you to come along and celebrate Christmas with us:
Our “Carols by Candlelight” service is at 7pm on Sunday 17th December, when we’ll be singing a mix of traditional and modern carols together.
On Monday 18th December, at 7.30pm the Salvation Army Band will be playing carols for us inside the church. Do come and sing along with us.
On Christmas Eve, we have our family-friendly Christingle services at 4pm and 6pm. These events are incredibly popular and we’re expecting at least 500 people this year, so come early to get a seat.
At 11pm on Christmas Eve, we have a reflective communion service where we’ll celebrate the birth of Jesus as the Light of the World.
On Christmas Day, we have the now-famous Chocolate Nativity service at 10am. If you’ve not been before, it’s a fun event with chocolate literally thrown in… For those who’d like to stay on, this is followed by a short communion service.
The church is also proud and pleased to be involved in village Christmas events such as the Ruddington Christmas Fayre. As we enter the Christmas season, we’d love you to join us in celebration and reflection.
