Ruddington’s popular Christmas Fayre will make a welcome return to our village on Saturday 2nd December. Taking place from 12 noon to 5pm, the event will boast a wide range of stalls offering delicious seasonal food and drink, Christmas gifts and decorations, and much more!
As usual, the High Street will be closed to traffic to make way for outdoor stalls, with additional stalls set up in the marquee area at The White Horse Inn on Church Street. Indoor stalls will be set up in the St Peter’s Church and St Peter’s Rooms.
In the event of bad weather, some of the outdoor stalls will relocate to The Hermitage on Wilford Road. The Methodist Church on Church Street will also be taking part and hosting their own indoor stalls.
David Cox Amusements will be on the Village Green, with rides and attractions for all ages. In addition to stalls, there’ll be kids’ activities in St Peter’s Church, choirs singing and bell-ringing. As always, Santa will be on hand with presents for the children and the event will culminate in a treelighting ceremony in St Peter’s Churchyard, followed by festive carol-singing.
The popular “Picture in a Manger” activity, where you can be part of the Nativity scene, will also be taking place in St Peter’s Church during the Fayre.
