Ruddington Christmas Fayre 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday December 5th sees the big step forward for Ruddington and its Xmas Fayre, opening at 2 p.m. Most local traders are taking the opportunity to promote their businesses, and we’ve some 70 stalls from Ruddington and around. Good weather permitting, the event looks like it’s a huge success already.
The Green will have marquees and fun for children, along with the Xmas tree and dancing. Santa will tour the village and then meet you in his temporary grotto at St Peters Rooms. There will be some surprises, including an animal attraction for children.
The High St will be closed to traffic during the afternoon and stalls will line it, and there will be music and hot food. The buses will divert along Kirk Lane and Loughborough Rd between noon and 6.00 p.m. That reminds me, don’t drink and drive.
This is an event for the whole family to enjoy. Wrap up warm and come and have fun whilst supporting local businesses.
Ruddington Parish Councillors and other helpers have worked extremely hard to make this event happen. Please support us, enjoy yourselves, and we’ll see you on the 5th.
