Thanks to the generosity of the Parish Council, the clock in St Peter’s Church tower has at last been repaired. Terry from The Cumbria Clock Company arrived at 9am on Monday 7th March with new parts for the clock, and by lunch-time the correct time was showing.
The Revd. Andrew Buchanan said he was utterly thrilled that such a landmark feature in the village had been restored.
The timepiece was sadly missed by Ruddington residents for over two months whilst awaiting repair, but thanks to The Parish Council and The Cumbria Clock Company, time no longer stands still in Ruddington.
