Our local heritage railway is hosting an event with a difference on Sunday 8 September, as up to 100 TVR sports cars descend on the GRCN site in Rushcliffe Country Park.
A much-loved British sports car, the TVR was first built in Blackpool in 1947, where the company was based until commercial production ceased in 2006. The event at GCRN will bring together a host of models showcasing the TVR’s history and celebrating British craftsmanship at its best. Heritage steam or diesel train services will also be running on the day.
