Ruddington Events
Ruddington Village Market presents coronation screen on the Green.
When: Saturday May 6 from 9 am
What: Outdoor cinema showing live broadcast of the coronation and then the Lion King from 3 pm. There will also be 70 stalls of street food, (including the market bar) and gifts with music from the community choir. Listen to the storyteller, enjoy face painting, and capture memories of the day in the photo booth.
Coronation Picnic
When: Sunday 7 May
What: St Peter’s Church will hold its morning service on the Green, followed by the big Ruddington Coronation Picnic from 12 pm onwards. Everyone is invited to bring their own food and refreshments but there will be ice cream available to buy. Nottingham concert Band and other musicians will be entertaining those gathered, while resident Barbara Breakwell and the Ruddington Scouts will have games organised for the children during the afternoon.
The Big Help Out

What: Ruddington Parish council and Ruddington Scouts have organised a village-wide community litter picking day.
The Village Museum will also be offering walking tours for all those who’d like to discover more about the History of Ruddington.
