The 38th Cycle Live Nottingham event will take place on Sunday 23rd June. Up to 4,000 riders will be tackling routes ranging from 25 to 125 miles through the Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire countryside.
As in previous years, some of the routes will pass through the Ruddington and you’ll see signposts popping up with information in the near future. No road closures are planned and access in and out of homes and businesses shouldn’t be affected. The event will be fully managed and supported with stewards.
Whilst all cyclists taking part will be required to comply with highway regulations, roads in and around the village will be busier than usual, so please allow more time for journeys on 23rd June. The event organisers, Perfect Motion, are also asking residents to take extra care when using the highways and avoid parking vehicles on streets along the route if possible.
Perfect Motion recognises the event may cause some short-lived inconvenience, but hope that local residents will enjoy the spectacle and help support those raising funds for good causes.
