This is the third in our series of articles to help spread the word about Parish Council services which you may not be aware of. This month, we focus on the toilet facilities that are available to the public in St Peter’s Rooms.
Like many towns and villages, Ruddington no longer has any ‘official’ public toilets in the village centre (the nearest ones are in Rushcliffe Country Park). The Parish Council recognises that this is a less than ideal situation, so the toilets in St Peter’s Rooms are available for the public to use whilst the Parish Council office is open.
Our usual opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 12:30pm. However, the office is sometimes open to the public in the afternoons as well, in which case the toilets will also be available. In short, if you’re caught short, it’s worth seeing if the door’s unlocked!
Toilet facilities include a separate disabled toilet and baby change facilities that are kept in the ladies’ but can be moved into the men’s if required. Please use all these facilities with respect and leave them in the condition in which you’d like to find them yourself.
