For a long time Easthorpe House, the base for NHS Rushcliffe Clinical Commissioning Group, on Loughborough Road, was “hidden” from view by dense woodland.
The woodland contained a variety of species of trees of different ages and size along with bushes, ground cover and ivy. Over time due to the density of planting some trees have died and recent winds have damaged others, causing limbs to fall or roots to be lifted.
Over the last few months a lot of tree clearance has been undertaken and the House is now fully visible. The Borough Council have been liaising with the owners. It is proposed to install a post and rail fence along the frontage and plant a Beech hedge.
