Freedom Dance and Performance are celebrating success after their fantastic time at the Dance World Cup in Jersey.
After months of fundraising to get themselves there, the team came away with two silver and two bronze medals, an achievement made even more special by the fact they were one of the smaller schools taking part in the competition.
Welcome to Wonderland (group) and Marly-Rae Gaunt (hip-hop solo) took the silver medals, with Arabella Eddy (hip-hop solo) and senior hip-hop group taking the bronzes.
“The atmosphere was incredible. It has been an absolute pleasure and honour to be part of team England – we made some great friendships with a number of schools that will hopefully continue in the future,” said owner Stacey Gaunt. “Thank you to all the sponsors and supporters who helped us to get here and congratulations to my awesome students for performing with such passion and from the heart.”
