Ruddington Baptist Church, St Peter’s Church, St Peter’s School, Ruddington Parish Council and the Honeycomb Charity Shop are just some of the organisations signed up to collect donations for the local Food Bank.
The Clifton NG11 Food Bank, seeded by the Trussell Trust, has teamed up with supporters to extend its reach into the village by providing emergency food and support for local people in crisis. Ruddington Co-operative has already given generously to the new project.
Collection points for non-perishable food items, shopping lists and information leaflets can be found in all the participating places. Food parcels are packed at the Hope Church Clifton centre and include nutritionally-balanced meals for three days. Food Bank vouchers are issued by frontline care professionals such as doctors and social workers.
Please give generously and regularly. Donate, volunteer or hold a fundraising event. If you are struggling to put food on the table, don’t hesitate, please get in touch.
