Ruddington Village (First Team) had a series of tough pre-season friendly matches / training sessions, and look to change their luck after finishing mid table last season.
Michael Leslie comes in as player/manager supporting current managers, David Rimmington and Steve Wilson. The team also welcome new faces, including: Simon Wilkinson, Peter Cassidy and ex Nottingham Forest player Adam Newbold . The first team also has new sponsorship deals with: The Three Crowns/Three Spices, as well as continued support from The Red Heart.
This year the club has: 3 senior male teams, one senior Ladies and 10 Junior Teams – plus a Soccer School. Teams play home games on Elms Park / Jubilee playing fields and would appreciate as much local support as possible.
