Rush4Health, a free outdoor event that promotes health and well-being, will take place at Rushcliffe Country Park on 11th July. An annual event, the 2010 festival is focusing on Change4Life – a national campaign that’s encouraging us all to Eat Well, Move More and Live Longer.
Rush4Health is an action-packed day that aims to show people that adopting a healthy life style can be fun and needn’t be difficult. Educational information and practical activities for children of all ages will be on offer. Kids can enjoy cookery lessons and tasters from local food suppliers, dance workshops and fitness classes, sports demonstrations, art activities and displays from local healthcare professionals.
Rush4Health is jointly run by Rushcliffe Borough Council and the locally-based Principia Group, who’ll be offering advice about healthy eating, getting fit and stopping smoking. It will take place on Sunday 11th July 2010 from 10am to 5pm. Parking £1 per vehicle – please follow signs.
