Join Jakki Pritchard, a local listed mindfulness teacher, to experience an hour of calm and mindfulness in the peaceful setting of the Chapel at Framework Knitters Museum.
This is a free taster session taking place on Tuesday 10th September from 6:30pm to 7:30pm before Jakki’s next 8 week course starts on Tuesday 24th September.
Mindfulness changes how our brain responds to stress, thoughts and emotions, leaving us feeling calmer and happier. It also helps us to develop greater self-compassion, to wake up and live life more fully. We feel more calm, contented and happy.
During the taster session, you can experience what mindfulness really means, discover its roots and have a play at mindfulness practice. This informal and friendly class will give you an insight into how mindfulness is scientifically proven to reduce stress, anxiety and low mood.
You’ll have the chance to learn all about this potentially life changing and nourishing course and how it can be transformative in managing the ups and downs of life that we all face.
