Come and join the Friends of James Peacock School for an action-packed afternoon on Saturday 15th June 2019 between 2pm and 5pm at the school premises. This year’s Family Fun Day is set to be even bigger and better than before, with activities for both adults and children including:
- Mustard Seed Project stall raising money for Uganda
- Notts Fire and Rescue Service will hopefully be in attendance with a Fire Engine (subject to call-outs)
- Bouncy castle and slide
- Popcorn and candy floss
- Ice cream
- Tombolas including the Chocolate Tombola
- Fairground games – hook a duck, marbles in a jar etc
- Lucky Jars
- The infamous “Friends of School Wheelbarrow of Wine” raffle
- Free entertainment from Yodance
- Mini disco
- Outdoor games from Ace Sports/Ruddington Kids
- Free children’s crafts
- Tea and coffee as well as a bar selling Pimms, prosecco, lager and soft drinks
It’s a perfect afternoon for parents to relax whilst the children are entertained. The event will go ahead rain or shine, but we’ll hope for the latter! So bring your chairs or picnic blankets and spend the afternoon with us.
Entry is free for children and costs £2 per adult on the door (£1 in advance from the school office). All the money raised will benefit James Peacock Infant School and its pupils.
Liz Dean, Chair of the Friends of James Peacock School
PS. The Fun Day is also a fabulous chance to have a look around the school if your child is joining us in Nursery or Reception this September!
