If your New Year’s Resolution was to get fit or raise some cash for charity, why not combine the two by taking part in a sponsored run or walk at Rushcliffe Country Park? Our local Park hosts regular fundraising events, offering the perfect opportunity to get your running shoes on and enjoy some exercise in this beautiful environment.
Upcoming events in the next couple of months include:
- Stroke Association Resolution Run. Join the Stroke Association for this fantastic 5k/10k run at Rushcliffe Country Park on Sunday 18th March 2018. The run will begin at 11am and ends at 4pm.

- BAPS Annual Charity 10k Challenge, Sunday 8th April 11.30am-2.30pm. This charity challenge, organised by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS), brings together thousands of enthusiastic participants from towns and cities across the UK for a fun and healthy way to raise money for various worthy causes and local charities.
- Save the Children Peppa Pig Muddy Puddle Walk, Saturday 28th April 11.30am-5.30pm. Bring your wellies and join in Peppa Pig’s Muddy Puddle. Suggested entry donation £1 per child; adults are free. Certificates will be awarded to all children completing the walk. Refreshments will be served in the Education Room and there’ll be a toy stall and tombola.
Not feeling too lively?
No worries! There are lots of other charity activities at Rushcliffe Country Park that offer a less strenuous experience. These include dog shows, cake sales and charity teas.
