It’s time to raise some money for the community and have fun doing it!
For over a year, the Friends of St. Peter’s Junior School (FOS) have been working diligently to bring an exciting vision to life for the children at the school. This will be a transformative outdoor space, designed to inspire creativity, adventure and learning throughout the year. It’s a carefully staged project and we’re now closer than ever to implementing Phase One!
Thanks to generous contributions from the community, and our commitment to allocating a portion of all funds raised toward this initiative, we’ve been steadily building the resources needed to make this c.£30,000 dream a reality. And we’re thrilled to share that we’re now approaching the funding milestone that will allow us to break ground on the first phase.
With your continued support, we can go ahead and provide the children with top-quality equipment and dynamic outdoor areas where they can engage in endless fun, develop new skills and foster a lifelong love for nature and exploration.
These enhancements will offer not only a space for play, but also an environment that encourages physical activity, teamwork and imaginative learning, ensuring every child benefits from a well-rounded outdoor experience.
We’re so close to making this happen—but we need your help to get across the finish line. We’ve therefore decided it’s time to (literally!) have a ball! It’s your chance to enjoy an evening of live entertainment, food and great company, with perhaps a few extras thrown in along the way. And of course, it wouldn’t be a FOS event without an extra special raffle.
The Cottage Hotel, having hosted charity balls in the past, was our first choice of venue and we’re pleased to say they’ll be hosting us again.
Every contribution, big or small, brings us one step closer to creating a space that will serve and inspire generations of students at St. Peter’s Junior School. So, please get your friends together and contact us to purchase your tickets at just £60 each.
This includes a three-course meal, nightlong live entertainment, raffle*, photo booth and more! The ticket only, adult only event will take place at 7pm for 7.30pm on Friday 6th June.
