Staff at The Nottingham Building Society, Ruddington organised a Great Village Bake off in aid of Sports Aid.
The Team encouraged local business and residents to bake a themed cake with a chance of winning a prize kindly provided by Philo’s.
The Branch raised £45. Judges Liam Harrison (Branch Manager for West Bridgford & Ruddington) & Marilyn Robinson (Parish Council) judged the cakes on the best Taste and the best theme.
The winner was Helen Beal from Perkins Hardware shop who won 1st prize with her excellent plant pot cake.
The Team are planning on organising another next year.
