A Ruddington teenager raised £600 over the summer after donating his hair to the Little Princess Trust.
Theo Smart, 13, grew his locks for well over a year so that he was able to donate at least 7 inches in length, before plucking up the courage to take the chop at Twenty Eight Barbers in Nottingham city centre.
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs free of charge to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland who have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses. Not only will the hair contribute to a much needed wig, but Theo also set up a Just Giving page to raise extra funds for the charity.
Smashing his original £50 target, Theo said, “I wasn’t sure how I would look with short hair but I feel proud to have raised so much money for charity.”

Well done Theo!
