The earthquake that struck Haiti on 12th January “shook the world” as we saw the vivid images of the devastation it caused. The reaction was to try and help and that is what our two village schools have done.
St. Peter’s children made envelopes and asked for donations in return for carrying out tasks and chores, and raised an amazing £1700. James Peacock had a non uniform day and children went to school in the colours of the flag of Haiti – red, blue or both. In return they donated money and raised over £500.
