Rushcliffe Borough Council (RBC)is consulting on proposals for more houses and changes to the Green Belt that will have an impact on Ruddington. The Government Inspector has told RBC that there is not enough land identified for new housing and that further Green belt review work is required.
The proposals include a further 550 new homes at Sharphill, in addition to the 1200 new homes already planned.

All documents can be viewed and downloaded from the RBC website www.rushcliffe.gov.uk/planningpolicy Details of how to submit comments are on the website. Comments can also be submitted online. The deadline for comments is 5 p.m. on Friday 9th August.
Ruddington Parish Council is meeting to consider the proposals on Tuesday 30th July, 7.00 p.m. at St. Peter’s Rooms. There will be an opportunity at the meeting for members of the public to have their say.
