In June 2012, prior to the Best Kept Village judging, Parish Councillors organized a “Litter Pick” around the village. Hand held litter pickers were borrowed from Rushcliffe Borough Council, who also provided a supply of waste bags and vinyl gloves to help with the work.
The Parish Council is hoping to organize regular “Litter Pick” sessions and is asking for residents to volunteer to help. You don’t need to be available every time, but if you are willing to lend a hand in keeping your village clean and tidy, please ring, write, email or call in to the Parish Council office and let us know.
Thank you for your help.
