Jill Reedman is the new Parish Councillor for Flawford Ward after a non-contested election. Says Jill: “I am 57 years old and have lived in Ruddington for over 35 years. I am married with two grown up children. I worked for the NHS in Mental Health for 20 years before taking early retirement. Prior to having a family, I worked in the Civil Service.
I am a member of Ruddington Baptist Church and volunteer in the Honeycomb Charity Shop. Thankfully, my life is not so busy now that I am retired and I am happy to give up some of my time to serve the community.”
“I will represent the best interests of all members of our community, but am particularly interested in advocating on behalf of the less vocal and the more vulnerable. The needs of both younger and older people are of special concern to me.
Ruddington is a great place to live and I look forward to working with my colleagues on the Parish Council to protect and develop our village.”
