Katharine (Katie) Anderson has recently been co-opted to the Parish Council and now represents Manor Ward. We’d like to welcome Katie on board.
“I’m a retired widow with many family members around the world. My son, grandson and his half-sister live in Nottingham,” says Katie.
“I’ve lived in Ruddington for three and a half years but have been associated with the village for some six or seven years. I’ve had several jobs, from Maths teacher to Management Consultant.”
“As a Parish Councillor, I know that many people are concerned that the number of houses built around the village are not supported by an increase in facilities and infrastructure; healthcare, parking and schools to name but a few.”
You can contact Katie through the Parish Council office.
There are still some vacancies on the Parish Council. If you’re interested in getting involved, please contact the Parish Clerk, Claire Dorans, on 0115 914 6660 to find out more about the role.
