Rushcliffe residents looking for a career change or to learn new skills can now explore employment and training opportunities on a brand-new, free to access website.
The Start in South Nottinghamshire Employment and Skills Portal is supported by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and is jointly commissioned by Rushcliffe Borough Council, Broxtowe Borough Council and Gedling Borough Council.
It’s been set up to provide residents with a ‘go to’ destination to support their journey into education or employment. You can visit the portal online at https://southnotts.startprofile.com/page/home-page.
The platform includes free CV and cover letter builder tools to help increase your chances of gaining employment as well as virtual work experience programmes, information on local economies and employers, and a job search tool.
It also offers an opportunity for local employers and training providers to upload and list their learning and work opportunities for free.
Any businesses or organisations interested in including their information on the website can email Rushcliffe Borough Council at bryder@rushcliffe.gov.uk.
