In January, St Peter’s C of E Junior School welcomed Michael Bradley as their new Headteacher. Mr Bradley has previously been a Deputy Head at a school in Eastwood.
As a parent of two boys himself, he knows the importance of the relationship between home and school, and acknowledges how supportive the parents and carers of the pupils at St Peter’s are.
Mr Bradley said that he’s “…passionate about inspiring and empowering our children to change the world for the better,”
He wants to “…ensure the pupils receive an education for the head (achieving academically), the heart (developing the character skills needed to be good people) and the hands (providing our children with opportunities to make a real difference).”
Mr Bradley has already noticed the amazing community spirit here in Ruddington and says that this, along with the fantastic children and dedicated staff in his team, means he couldn’t ask for a better foundation for everyone to build on.
His overriding aim is for the pupils to love coming to school by “ensuring they receive a broad and rich education in a happy, inclusive and joyful setting.”
Welcome to Ruddington, Mr Bradley.
