In July this year, members of the Keyworth and Ruddington and West Bridgford Rotary Clubs agreed to come together to form a new club.
As a “new” club we have a new name and will in future be known as Rushcliffe Rotary. Club members will continue to give their time and skills in the service of the communities in which we live.
The new club is keen to hear from local community groups and individuals who might benefit from our support. The club offers bursaries, usually in the range of £25 to £200, although the total allocation distributed each year is limited.
Any individual or group considering an application should bear in mind the following guidelines:
The applicant(s) should ideally:
- Be locally based or have a local connection
- Be engaged in a project with a humanitarian or educational focus
- Indicate the efforts they’ve made to raise funds
- Be willing to report back to the club on project outcomes
The club is also keen to build its membership and would be pleased to hear from anyone wishing to learn more about Rotary.
Applications for grants and requests for membership information should be sent to The Secretary, Rushcliffe Rotary, The Country Cottage Hotel, Easthorpe Street, Ruddington, NG11 6LA.
