A Ruddington social media information source that began life as the @Ruddington_info Twitter feed almost six years ago has just become a full website, RUDDINGTON.info, and aims to provide a fresh source of news, events and features for our village.
The online service continues to be administered by Ruddington media company North Point Productions but now aims to cover village issues and activities in more depth.
Ruddington Business Partnership and The Ruddington Arms hosted a special early morning preview event for business networkers on Friday 15 July, with a Navy Line 3 bus in their car park.
This was to highlight a new initiative with Nottingham City Transport (NCT) to promote Ruddington as a “Ruddy Good Day Out” to visitors. The initiative includes a handy new bus route pocket map which illustrates a range of tourist attractions and is complemented by feature articles on RUDDINGTON.info.
North Point Productions managing director Graham Wright and NCT’s Marketing Manager Anthony Carver-Smith launched the campaign.
The new website went live at 6am on Friday 22 July and can be found at www.RUDDINGTON.info.
